African Music Concerts Week of Jul 13 - Jul 19

Angelique is on a mission to cross over into the US rock genre. Last year she toured with the Dave Matthews Band, even recording a duet for her new album. This year she is the opening act for a resurgent Carlos Santana after his Grammy winning album brought him back to the touring circuit in a big way.

This concert is especially important because Carlos is donating all his profits to help AIDS sufferers in South Africa. He has been on a two month tour of the US and his generosity will result in millions of dollars for the needy. With as many billionaires as there are in the US, why does it take a rock musician to work for free to get this aid? Where are the record companies profits going?
