Cesaria Evora introduced Cape Verdean music to the world -- Maria de Barros is continuing in the same direction but with a more energetic and danceable sound for the younger generation. She sings in three languages and mixes the latin dance style into the Afro-Portuguese tradition. This will be a fun show in a great venue!
