Angelique is the only African woman that makes repeated appearances. She seems to be vying for Baaba Maal's title of hardest working musician. This is probably the sixth time she's been in town in the last 10 years or so. Recently she opened for Dave Matthews so her approach to crossing over with a world sound is starting to take hold.
