Maria de Barros hails from Cape Verde where she has been crowned the Queen of the Coladeiras and has been recognized by no less than Cesaria Evora, the Queen of the Mornas. The Afro-Portuguese sound of her music will have you dancing all night. If that were not enough, she is joined by Algerian singer Souad Massi who features raï music among other genres.

The Shona people of Zimbabwe play marimbas, also known as a thumb organ, to present their spiritual music. They are accompanied by drums and shakers. This event for children allows the audience to participate in the music and fun.
