African Music Concerts Week of Sep 12 - Sep 18

At the north end of Santa Monica Promenade is a nice Asian fusion restaurant with fish swimming in the floor. Upstairs in the back is a bar that hosts music, and has the occasional African groove. An unexpected hideaway in an oasis of shopping and mainstream crowds is the place to find the Congolese Rumba and Cuban Son of Ricardo's band.

Andre has a weekly gig in Little Ethiopia. The band plays his trademark Afro-Jazz sound. It features the electric bass, keyboard, saxophone, percussion, drums, lead guitar and some guest musicians and vocalists.
