African Music Concerts Week of Aug 1 - Aug 5

I've never heard of this band, but they are featuring Titus Jimmy Fotso of Cameroon. He has fronted several bands over the years. It will be interesting to hear his latest sound.

Classical Egyptian music is featured at the continuing African series in Hollywood.

Bass player Nee Sackey of Ghana performs with an international band, including an African conga player. It is billed as World Jazz. Word is he's a musician's musician. Worth checking out to see some new moves on the guitar.
