Saturday 18 Nov 9:30 King (Dr.) Chief Oliver de Coque was last in Los Angeles about 5 years ago. He plays traditional Nigerian highlife. He looms large on the musical scene, as well as in his physical presence. The audience loves to "dash" him with dollar bills as he sings and plays the guitar. Oliver will be backed by his brother Eugene's Igede International Band. |
